Ollie's Jump Shot & Other Sports Related Things

Oliver loves his basketball.  He was kicking it around while watching the other two play soccer.

It was really fun to watch Stephen coach Maycee and Cooper.

Oliver on the sidelines.

I cannot get a picture to do this boy justice.  Olive has an amazing "shot".  It is really hard to explain. He has a natural basketball throw!  And it is a natural lefty throw.  It is so awesome!

This one you can kinda see it, but it's blurry.

Another House Update

They have painted the siding and put on all of the stucco.  Waiting for their paint.

This is the ceiling on our porch.  I love it!  I really love the detail that these guys have added all over the place.  Things I didn't even ask for that they just made cool!

This is my beloved rounded entryway.  I can't really get a good picture to do it justice, but just know that it is super awesome.  AND an amazing rounded door will soon grace the front of my house!!

Here is the great room with Stephen's wood burning fireplace.  He really wanted that thing.

Here is where the kitchen will be.  Just opposite of the great room.

And here is the nursery/future office that is just off of the master.

Master.

Master Bath.

Master Shower.  Check out that super long shelf to put my shampoo on!

Here is the guest room that is off of the dining room, that I also forgot to take a picture of...

This is the landing just at the top of the stairs.  It is going to have a ton of bookshelves and be our little corner library.

Here is the bonus room on the opposite side of the library that we will use as our school room.

Off of the school room is the boys' room.

And Maycee's room.

This is my mud room just behind the kitchen.

To the side of the mudroom is our stairs for the basement.  Which will be unfinished.  Until we get an itch to finish it.

That's it!!

Maycee's FIRST soccer game.

Those little girls did really well!!!  I was quite impressed.

My mom and dad came to see it.  And Krystal, Shane, and Lexi Jo.

I'm sad that I took this picture at the wrong moment.  Just after I clicked the shutter, Maycee jumped in the air, cheering for her team.  Super cute!

It made me laugh at how many times Coach Ben had to tell the girls to put space between them.  They were almost always huddled together.

Maycee did kick two goals!!  The only problem was that they were for the other team.  While I was sitting down watching the game, I apparently wasn't paying attention either.  I was cheering her on as she scored for the other team.

After the soccer game, Stephen, Shane, Krystal, and my dad took it upon themselves to give Maycee some real coaching and play a game with her.  It was really fun to watch.

Thanks for coming to the game everyone!!  It was great to have you!!!

Potty Training

So.

Those two words are like nails on a chalkboard for me.

Especially since I have two that I have "potty trained" that both still have issues.

I did, however, have breakthrough with Cooper.

I've tried everything.  Seriously.  But this time I found a new trick that seemed to work.  Cooper has been pee trained since day three of potty training.  ...Almost a year ago.  Pooping has been the bane of our existence.  Three months ago I bought him two big, super cool cars that he wanted as a reward.  Still nothing.  A few weeks ago I gave up on healthy eating for this little stunt and provided him with Oreos for every poop.  It lasted about two days.  Then he was over it.

Well.

Here is my trick.

Just know, before I say this, I am a mean Mom.  But it is totally working.  So, I don't really care.

When the Oreo thing went out the window I pushed it a little bit farther.  When Cooper poops in his underwear now, everyone else gets an Oreo.  Except for Cooper.  The first time this happened, he had the biggest meltdown I have ever seen.  I didn't even bat an eye.  I put on my happy mommy face and ignored him.

That happened two more times.

Then he magically wanted Oreos again.  Now when he poops in the toilet everyone gets an Oreo.

That was four days ago.

I am really, really, really, really, really, really (to the 100th power) hoping that we have finally turned a corner.
