Family Home Evening

I love family home evening.

My kids love it and it makes me happy!

Every FHE starts with 'our song'.  We found it in the nursery book.  It goes, 'If you're ready for a lesson come sit down!'  (clap clap) or (stomp stomp);  To the tune of "If you're happy and you know it".  The kids really enjoy it.

I found some really cool lesson plans online for super short lessons for toddlers that we have been working on.  For 8 weeks we sing the song, "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and talk about the Gospel in relation to the specific parts of our bodies.

This is Stephen doing the actions with Oliver.

This week was our mouths.  We learned about using our mouths to talk to people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We made missionary name tags.  Our kids make the cutest missionaries! :)

Kissing missionaries.  Someday we will be one of those!
