Ode to Ono

We have a really good family friend, Bruce Sweat, from American Falls that comes to Boise for training about two or three times a year. Every time that he comes we go to a really cool restaurant. The goal is to find a place that Bruce hasn't been too. THAT is the difficult part. Now comes the part of the "Ode".

My new favorite food is Hawaiian. Krystal introduced us to the coolest place, Ono Hawaiian Cafe. The atmosphere was amazing and our server was great! And the food was to die for!

We talked to our waitress for a while about the place. She said that she was from Hawaii and most of the people that worked there were also from Hawaii. She also said that they have dancers that come and do the Hula. The grass skirt, coconuts, and everything. I can't remember if she said they only do it in the summer or all the time, but it was SO good! I recommend all to go to the Ono Hawaiian Cafe on Broadway in downtown Boise. You will not regret it...I promise!
