Round-a-bouts Anyone?

This weekend, my family came to Boise to celebrate my dear mother's birthday. At her express urgency, we had to take a family picture. On our way to the chosen spot of picture taking was one of my favorite play toys...a round-a-bout!

The round-a-bout is in front of a new subdivision that they are building in south Boise. No one lives in the subdivision. They do, however, have really cool houses.

As we reached the round-a-bout I squealed that Stephen should keep going around. Kory in the backseat said that he had to get around the corners going 30 mph. Krystal and Shane, in their own car behind us followed.

We turned through the round-a-bout four times before we were caught by an old man driving a rickety old white van. He began following us around and so we turned out and parked on the side of the road. The old man rolled down his window and pulled up next to us.

"You kids need to quit fooling around," says old man

He then rolled up his window and parked in front of us and took down our license plates and then took off. Don't worry my parents were with us as well...other old people goofing off.

Some people really need less time on their hands. We just should have taught that guy how to have a little fun!

Stephen was taking the pre-picture shots...I really think he's getting good! He really likes close ups. And Buster

With all of the preperation and time consumption, this is the best family portrait that we could come up with:
